About The Position

The Assistant Property Manager, under the direction of the Property Manager, provides excellent customer service and coordinates all aspects of apartment community operations. Eagle Rock Properties is a full-service real estate firm headquartered in New York that provides investment management, property management, and construction management services. The company has more than 275 professionals and specializes in rental apartment communities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Requirements

• One to two years of property management experience or a four-year bachelor's degree in a related field (listed as preferred).
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven track record of success with the leasing process.
• Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish; preferred but not required.
• One to two years of property management experience or a four-year bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of property operations and the leasing office.
• Support the Property Manager in monitoring financial operations and achieving budgeted NOI.
• Manage the legal process for resident accounts.
• Coordinate maintenance of property grounds and service requests.
• Provide a quality living environment for residents and a positive work environment for team members.
• Work with the marketing team to achieve maximum occupancy at the property.
• Show the apartment community to prospective residents.
