About The Position

This role involves assisting in the implementation and planning of development projects at the Hong Kong Science Park, including revamps and other capital works. The Assistant Project Manager will manage projects to ensure they are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include consolidating project requirements from stakeholders, coordinating with consultants for tender and construction documents, providing technical support, managing procurement and construction processes, and preparing reports. The role also involves utilizing AI-based tools for project communication and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Architectural Studies, Engineering, Surveying or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience in design and/or project management of various building types at different stages.
  • Exposure to interior design, A&A works and institution projects.
  • Familiarity with statutory requirement and procedures for development projects in Hong Kong.
  • Proficiency in graphics presentation tools and software such as, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Acrobat Reader, Microsoft and design related computer application.
  • Self-driven, independent, problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-assisted tools for image and document generation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and planning the development of Hong Kong Science Park, revamp and other capital works projects as assigned.
  • Manage various projects to ensure the projects are accomplished within the budget, the scheduled timeline and up to the required quality.
  • Consolidate project requirement from various stakeholders in finalizing project briefs and coordinate with consultants to produce tender/construction documents.
  • Provide technical support and expert advice on discipline-related issues to other members of the project team as well as in-house staff of other divisions.
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to understand their spatial needs for project delivery.
  • Handle the procurement and construction process as well as prepare memo and reports for vetting for Management’s approval.
  • Utilize AI-based tools to generate images, documents, and presentations to support project communication and documentation.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
