About The Position

The Assistant Manager is an active part of store operations, customer experience, and employee development. This role manages rag & bone’s Brickell pop-up for a one-year term, with the opportunity to become permanent. The Assistant Manager coaches and develops supervisors and associates and helps create an environment where team members collaborate to consistently deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of retail experience in specialty, contemporary, or luxury environments.
• At least 1–2 years of management experience.
• Advanced clienteling skills and the ability to build and grow a loyal customer base.
• Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs.
• Strong sales-floor leadership presence and a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Ability to analyze sales reports, KPIs, and business trends to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best-in-class customer service, build customer loyalty through clienteling standards and sales interactions, and ensure staff do the same.
• Perform and train staff on store operations, including register and stockroom tasks.
• Ensure cash handling and register procedures are maintained and executed.
• Ensure payroll procedures and store scheduling are handled with integrity.
• Delegate appropriately to support efficient store operations and develop team members.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff.
• Identify, create, and manage store business plans that drive performance and maximize business opportunities.
• Analyze sales reports and data to identify business needs and partner in setting strategies to achieve goals.
• Build customer loyalty and grow and manage clientele.
• Maintain product knowledge and ensure it is shared with staff.
• Encourage and recognize opportunities for team selling.
• Understand and exemplify the rag & bone brand philosophy and lifestyle.
• Work with Visual Merchandising and Buying teams to advise on product assortment and displays based on customer demographics and market trends.
• Consistently act in accordance with rag & bone core values.
• Model and teach associates to support a positive, client-centric environment.
• Contribute to a positive, fun, professional, productive, and team-oriented store atmosphere.
