Assistant Program Manager

Heluna Health•Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) provides direct support to the Program Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the Community Safety Crisis and Incident Response Through Community-Led Engagement (C.I.R.C.L.E.) program. C.I.R.C.L.E. is a 24/7 unarmed response program that deploys mental health professionals and people with lived experience to respond to non-violent LAPD calls related to unhoused individuals experiencing crisis. The program aims to disrupt the relationship between homelessness and the criminal justice system, de-escalate and stabilize incidents, and support enduring positive outcomes through trauma-informed rapport building, connections to services and resources, and case management. The APM partners with the Program Manager to coordinate smooth operations and adequate team coverage, ensure teams have needed supplies, and develop and maintain policies and procedures that support compliance and effective program delivery. This is a temporary, grant-funded, full-time, benefited position.
