About The Position

Supports and assists the Program Coordinator in the operations, supervision and management of the Day Treatment program. Provides a safe and effective learning environment for children in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids. Requirements

High School degree (required).
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in active environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, human services or related field (preferred).
A combination of education and experience might be accepted as a substitute for bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Assists Program Coordinator in supervising the implementation of the Behaven Kids model of care.
Assists Program Coordinator in supervising and monitoring direct care staff, service delivery, and program activities to ensure quality and consistency.
Assists Program Coordinator in identifying, monitoring, and implementing treatment goals and objectives.
Carries out duties of Program Coordinator in his/her absence.
Prepares, updates and maintains documentation and children’s records.
Provides orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
Provides a safe, structured learning environment.
Interacts with children in a professional, positive manner.
Communicates effectively with parents, peers, and supervisor.
Ensure compliance with state licensing, health department, Behaven Kids policies and procedures, and fire and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
