About The Position

Northwood is hiring for the position of Program Coordinator Day Treatment at Merritt Creek Academy! The Program Coordinator serves as a leader within their assigned day treatment program, supporting the supervisor in administering agency services and fostering a collaborative, empowered team environment. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, communicating, and coordinating activities that align with both team and organizational goals. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for case management, daily student supervision, and facilitating group sessions. Effective case management involves maximizing the use of available resources to support the treatment needs of students and their families. This role includes direct client interaction and the development, oversight, and coordination of individualized treatment plans, utilizing both agency and community-based support services. In addition, the Program Coordinator ensures compliance with Northwood program policies and procedures. To maintain effective leadership and case management skills, ongoing professional development is essential.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances.
