In this role, you will oversee daily operations within designated service areas, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services are delivered in both in-home and community-based settings. You will coordinate care, support staff development, monitor compliance, and maintain a safe, structured, and empowering environment for individuals served.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Relevant experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities may substitute year-for-year for the required degree
  • Must have reliable means of communication
  • Must possess strong reading and writing skills with the ability to clearly document and communicate information
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
  • Must have a vehicle with a functioning air conditioner and heater if transporting clients
  • Ability to be on-call according to regional office schedule
  • Ability to assist with physical transfers or lifting, as needed based on individual support requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) to ensure measurable, person-centered outcomes
  • Supervise, mentor, and support staff to deliver high-quality services and foster professional growth
  • Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of individuals through regular site visits and ongoing communication
  • Collaborate with nurses, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure medical and daily living needs are effectively met
  • Facilitate opportunities for community engagement and the development of natural supports
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance with service requirements and organizational policies
  • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and quality checks to ensure services meet established standards
  • Manage program budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports and variance analyses
  • Ensure staff training requirements are current and aligned with individual care needs
  • Promote a clean, safe, and supportive residential environment, including oversight of procedures such as medication and financial tracking
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support program success
