About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Asst. Program Coordinator to coordinate, supervise and monitor clinical services and residential programming. Provides support, supervision and direction to Behavioral Health Counselors including orientation, training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Provides clinical support and on-call coverage to staff and consumers for crisis intervention and emergencies. Coordinates and monitors all aspects of service delivery including assessment, evaluation, recommendations on placements, treatment planning, case conferences, referrals for adjunctive services, family meetings, group work, individual counseling (as needed), consumer advocacy, liaison with other community agencies, and discharges. Conducts weekly staff team meetings and consumer house meetings. Assists Mental Health Director in the recruitment, hiring and termination of residential staff. Reviews all consumer recordkeeping. Documents service delivery and maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation while ensuring consumer confidentiality. Ensures that all staff complete Core Competency Training. Oversees staff scheduling. Develops therapeutic “in-house” programs to meet consumer needs. Ensures and oversees safe, clean and adequate living arrangements for consumers. Transports consumers in agency vehicles in a safe, cautious and responsible manner.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a mental health related discipline required such as Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Nursing, etc.
  • Previous Mental/Health Human Services experience required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous mental health/human services supervisory and residential experience preferred.
