Assistant Professor - Tenure Track
About The Position
Applicants are invited for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery, at the University of Louisville, School of Medicine. The Department of Surgery is seeking a Surgical Oncologist at the Assistant Professor level to join our Division of Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate must have completed Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at an ACGME accredited program and be eligible to sit for the American Board in Complex General Surgical Oncology. Additionally, the ideal candidate will desire to conduct laboratory research and compete for independent funding. Applicants are expected to have a genuine interest and commitment to Surgical Oncology research, and special consideration will be given for candidates with advanced research training, such as a PhD. Requirements
- Completed Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at an ACGME accredited program
- Eligible to sit for the American Board in Complex General Surgical Oncology
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed scholarship
- Expert skills and an interest in teaching and academic productivity in clinical areas
