About The Position

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides clinical care to pediatric patients within Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, a 151-bed hospital-within-a-hospital associated with OHSU, and a member of NACHRI, as well as Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinics. The division is a highly motivated, vibrant team of faculty focused on scholarship, research, and advocacy, as well as providing the best teaching and clinical care in their chosen area. This position will be scheduled to provide patient care as a consultant to other inpatient services, though the majority of clinical service is anticipated to be provided in outpatient clinics or virtually. The position will assume a portion of both night and weekend on-call service, typically 7-10 weeks annually. The division provides clinical services across a large footprint of sites throughout the state of Oregon, including the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Center. The division also provides educational endeavors for medical students, residents, fellows, and clinical care teams within the hospital, while additionally providing specific intensified training and mentorship to the pediatric endocrinology fellows. Division members are encouraged to participate in translational research and clinical trials, as well as education and administrative opportunities throughout OHSU.

Requirements

  • MD/DO
  • Eligible for licensing in Oregon
  • DEA Certificate
  • Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology

Responsibilities
