Assistant Professor, Pediatric Surgery
About The Position
The University of Maryland seeks candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Pediatric Surgery at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates should be board certified in Pediatric Surgery or currently in training in an accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship program. Responsibilities will include clinical care of pediatric surgery patients, education of students, residents, and pediatric surgery fellows. Candidates should have a clear plan for academic development and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Opportunities for basic and clinical research are available for appropriate and interested candidates. The School of Medicine is located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, near the famous Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. Requirements
- Board certified in Pediatric Surgery or currently in training in an accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship program
- Board certified or eligible in pediatric surgery or currently in training in an ACGME accredited pediatric surgery fellowship program
