Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their team. This is a full-time position. The hospital is an award-winning, full-service children's hospital offering the highest level of dedicated pediatric care in Northern Virginia. Requirements
- Doctorate of Medicine (MD or DO)
- Successful completion of a physician residency program.
- Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship completed.
- Board eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Work within an established pediatric endocrinology program consisting of 6 endocrinologists and 2 nurse practitioners.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 5 diabetes educators, including RD/CDCES and RN/CDCES.
- Receive additional support from endocrine nurses, a clinical pharmacist, psychologist, Child Life specialists, and pediatric laboratory services.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric patients.
