About The Position
This position involves clinical and teaching components. Clinical duties include gastrointestinal / liver pathology, general surgical pathology, on-call rotation, and may include multiple site assignments. Teaching involves both classroom instruction and clinical setting mentoring/education of medical students and residents. Participation in clinical research encouraged.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology
- Completion of a fellowship in Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology or Surgical Pathology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Previous experience in an academic medical center
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Demonstrated interest in medical education and research
