About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Professor in Pathology with both clinical and teaching responsibilities. Clinical duties include general surgical pathology, on-call rotation, and potential assignments at multiple sites. Teaching involves instructing medical students and residents in both classroom settings and clinical environments, with an emphasis on mentoring and education. Participation in clinical research is also encouraged.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology.
  • Completion of a Pathology residency program.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of pathology (e.g., surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology).
  • Experience in clinical research.
  • Previous experience in an academic medical center.
