Rockhurst University's Department of Speech-Language Pathology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology position. This is a full-time, 11-month, tenure-track position to begin January 2027. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching course material in the SLP curriculum at a higher education level, covering pertinent subject matter using lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, practicums, labs, simulations, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery, as well as conducting and mentoring research in areas of expertise. This position is not remote. The position requires strong organizational and technological skills, as data management is a key responsibility. The incumbent must be able to submit student progress reports and attendance in a timely fashion. Collaborative skills are also a necessity, as the incumbent must work with academic and interpersonal partners while also adhering to all Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences and Rockhurst policies and procedures to properly facilitate student learning. Most importantly, the job must support and contribute to the mission of the department through service commiserate with rank and experience.
