About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a passionate, student-centered Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, onsite, school-based position working five days per week. The SLPA provides direct speech and language support services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, helping them build communication skills that support learning, confidence, independence, and participation in the classroom and beyond. The role offers mentorship, leadership support, and professional development opportunities in a collaborative, mission-driven culture. Requirements

Associate's degree or higher from an accredited SLPA program.
Current SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across district schools.
Implement treatment plans and IEP goals developed by supervising SLPs.
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and communication challenges.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, therapists, and families.
Assist in creating positive, engaging learning environments.
Support student participation in academic and social settings.
Follow state, district, and professional compliance guidelines.
