About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Professor in Pathology with both clinical and teaching responsibilities. Clinical duties include hematopathology, general surgical pathology, on-call rotation, and potential assignments at multiple sites. Teaching involves instructing medical students and residents in both classroom settings and clinical environments, including mentoring. Participation in clinical research is also encouraged.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
  • Fellowship training in Hematopathology or Surgical Pathology.
  • Experience in clinical pathology and surgical pathology.
  • Experience in teaching medical students and residents.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of practice.

  • Experience in clinical research.
  • Additional fellowship training.
  • Experience with electronic health records and laboratory information systems.
