This is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position starting Fall 2027 in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, Department/School of Psychology. The anticipated hiring range is $74,652 - $89,772 per year.

Requirements

A completed 3-year Master’s or a completed Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology, or a doctorate degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
Current CA credentialing/licensing as a School Psychologist, Psychologist, or Licensed Educational Psychologist (or intention to obtain it for doctorate degree holders).
Three years of professional work experience as a School Psychologist in preK-12 schools (for Master's or Ed.S. degree holders).
Experience in delivering undergraduate/graduate instruction or professional development.
A record and/or plan for research and/or scholarly activities.
All requirements for conferral of the doctorate degree must be met no later than the start date of the position (for those nearing completion).
Candidate must have achieved credentialing/licensure by the end of the third year to continue employment (for doctorate degree holders).
All work must be performed within the State of California.
Faculty assignments include in-person duties that require an on-campus presence.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
