About The Position

The Department of Psychology at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a pool of qualified, temporary, part-time instructors to teach on-site, in-person classes for our undergraduate program. This position seeks candidates from the field of Psychology (or related disciplines) who can teach undergraduate psychology classes at any level, from introductory to advanced courses. Appointments are offered on a course-by-course basis, and appointment length is based upon course section schedule(s). Appointments may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Ability to teach undergraduate psychology classes at any level.
  • Ability to teach on-site, in-person classes.

  • Ability to teach PSYC 270 - Biological Psychology.
  • Ability to teach RHET 203 - Writing in Psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate psychology classes at any level, from introductory to advanced courses.
  • Teach on-site, in-person classes for the undergraduate program.
