About The Position

The Accounting Department in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning in Fall 2027. Requirements

• Ph.D. or ABD in accounting by September 1 of the appointment year.
• Demonstrated capacity to undertake scholarly research publishable in leading academic journals.
• Commitment to contributing to Santa Clara University’s mission, including fostering a culture of inclusion and academic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the faculty member’s area of expertise, as assigned by the department chair.
• Maintain an active program of scholarly research publishable in leading academic journals.
• Provide effective service to the Department, School, University, profession, and/or community through committee work, leadership, professional engagement, and other contributions consistent with rank and experience.
