About The Position

The Department of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for faculty positions in Neurology. This evergreen posting is intended to build a pool of qualified applicants for current and future Assistant Professor opportunities across the department. The Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible physician to join its inaugural Headache Center team. We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm, a collaborative spirit, and a creative mindset who are excited to help shape the future of headache care, research, and education at one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. The successful candidate will develop a dedicated outpatient Headache Medicine practice and provide comprehensive clinical care, including the administration of onabotulinumtoxinA injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks. The position also offers access to advanced headache therapies through both outpatient and inpatient infusion services. Faculty will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across multiple specialties, including Emory's nationally recognized programs in neuro-ophthalmology, sleep medicine, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, psychology, and psychiatry. In addition, there are abundant opportunities to teach residents and medical students, participate in clinical and translational research, and contribute to the continued growth of inpatient and outpatient headache medicine across the Emory Healthcare system. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and training.
