About The Position
The El Super Assistant Produce Manager assists the Produce Manager with the proper operation of the Produce Department. The role coordinates employees’ work to achieve satisfactory operating results, comply with company procedures and policies, and execute company goals. The Assistant Produce Manager is expected to model professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision-making at all times. The work environment is a fast-paced grocery store. Essential job functions involve physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.
