About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring an Assistant Pastry Chef to prepare pastries and baked goods as part of a team offering a menu of more than 40 fresh-baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins made with whole ingredients. The role requires early-morning/daytime availability and the ability to follow recipes, pay close attention to detail, adapt to change, and work quickly. Baking or pastry experience is preferred but not required. Formal baking or pastry education is a bonus, not a requirement.

The position involves lifting dough, flour, and other supplies weighing 50 pounds or more, as well as continuous standing and walking with limited opportunities to sit. Employees must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with applicable food-handler and sanitation standards.
