The Assistant Parts Manager assists the Parts Manager in running a profitable and efficient parts department. This role ensures that established policies and procedures are followed by all parts department personnel. The Assistant Parts Manager accomplishes departmental objectives through proper pricing, purchasing, procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, merchandising, and displaying. This position also involves working as a lead parts counter salesperson, assisting walk-in customers, checking in parts, assisting with shipping and receiving, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the parts department areas.
