Assistant or Associate Professor (WOT) - Pediatric Epileptologist (Neurology)
About The Position
The Neurology Department at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a full-time, twelve-month appointment beginning July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will join the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period, with the equivalent of one month available for paid time off. All University of Washington faculty are expected to engage in teaching, research, and service.
Requirements
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent degree
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Washington
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology or foreign equivalent
- For H-1B visa sponsorship: successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (for graduates of foreign medical schools)
