Tenured/Tenure-Track: Assistant or Associate Professor - PK12 Educational Leadership and Policy
About The Position
Texas A&M University’s Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development in the College of Education and Human Development seeks one full-time, tenure or tenure-track faculty member for a 9-month academic appointment beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic community through distinguished achievements in research, teaching, and service, and demonstrate a commitment to advancing PK-12 educational leadership and policy. Applicants will be considered at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, Educational Policy, or a related field, completed or conferred by May 15, 2027.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence through various instructional formats, including in-person, online, and/or hybrid instruction.
- Demonstrated discipline expertise and teaching excellence, evaluated by peers, the department head, and/or the college dean.
- Demonstrated yearly progress of professional achievement in teaching, research, and service.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
- Experience in an area of specialization.
- Ability to write grant proposals to secure external funding.
- Evidence of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participation in professional societies.
