About The Position

The Assistant Operator sets up and operates machines in the designated department, runs material through machines according to company specifications, and helps ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards. The role includes maintaining accurate inventory entries, meeting efficiency and safety standards, and reporting machine maintenance concerns. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities may change or expand as needed. The role is based in High Point, North Carolina, and is listed as full-time on the first shift, with no travel.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be applied to efficient operation.
• Ability to read and interpret product layouts and production specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities
