Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department
About The Position
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse who reports to the unit director or manager and uses the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within an assigned shift. The ANM supports the director or manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services, and provides managerial presence across all shifts. The role manages clinical and non-clinical caregivers and provides performance-related input to the director or manager. The ANM supports compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements; implements and monitors compliance with policies, processes, and clinical priorities; and coaches, mentors, and collaborates to deliver quality patient care. This position is with Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Requirements
- Graduate from a school of nursing with a bachelor's degree (BS or BSN).
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.

- Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience.
