About The Position

Burger King Assistant Managers partner closely with the Restaurant General Manager to drive restaurant performance, develop strong teams, and deliver operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial results. They lead shifts, coach and develop Team Members and Shift Coordinators, and uphold quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards. The role also supports sales growth, labor efficiency, food safety, and guest satisfaction goals. It is suited to a hands-on leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and balances people development with operational discipline.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
1–2 years of leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or other fast-paced environments.
People-first mindset with strong communication and team-motivation skills.
Ability to solve problems and make confident, timely decisions.
Commitment to guest experience, Burger King standards, and ongoing learning and growth.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve guests and help the team provide fast, friendly service and positive guest experiences.
Coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members to build skills and develop their capabilities.
Lead restaurant shifts and maintain Burger King brand standards.
Encourage fresh ideas, remove operational roadblocks, and model hands-on leadership.
Monitor inventory, manage orders and assets, and ensure maintenance is completed.
Make decisions that support profitability, cash control, and security protocols.
Support goals for sales growth, labor efficiency, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
