It can involve lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching above 72 inches, bending, crouching, pushing or pulling trays, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder. Delivery work may require navigating multiple flights of stairs. The work environment includes temperature variation, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped cooler spaces, and sometimes adverse weather. Employees must be able to communicate with customers and coworkers, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others and under stress, and make judgments and decisions.
