About The Position

Mr. Magic Car Wash is hiring an Assistant Manager in Niles, Ohio. This role supports the Site Manager and helps run day-to-day car wash operations while delivering a high-quality customer experience. The Assistant Manager supervises, coaches, and motivates car wash attendants; promotes membership sales; and serves as shift leader or acting manager when needed. The position works with site and district leadership on planning, promotions, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of team leader and/or supervisory or management experience.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing sales or sales management experience.
• Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to stand, bend, walk, and lift at least 20 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and resolve customer concerns efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with daily operations, including staff scheduling, customer service, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Supervise and coach car wash attendants to provide exceptional service, maintain professionalism, and follow operational policies.
• Act as shift leader or manager when needed.
• Promote membership programs, coach team members on sales techniques, and contribute to sales goals.
• Help train and onboard new team members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage supplies and chemicals and keep the site clean and organized.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and District Manager on site planning, promotional activities, and operational improvements.
• Analyze sales dashboards and operational metrics to inform decisions.
