About The Position

Braum’s Assistant Managers execute the company’s brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values to deliver a positive customer experience and maximize sales. They support store crew members and help the team achieve unit goals. This role oversees daily operations across the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales, while helping ensure store policies and practices are followed. The position works a rotating three-week schedule, with an expected 45-hour work week and shifts from 2:00 p.m. to close. Work days vary. The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager. Compensation is $18.50–$19.00 per hour, stated as approximately $54,000–$58,000 annually; the bonus program is paid bi-weekly.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience.
Retail management experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver license.
Customer focus and a strong work ethic with high standards of integrity.
A positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all levels of the store team.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
Oversee daily operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales.
Monitor inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed.
Help ensure Braum’s store policies and practices are implemented and followed.
