About The Position

Braum's Assistant Managers execute the company's brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values to deliver a strong customer experience and maximize sales. They support store crew members and help the team achieve unit goals. The role oversees daily operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales, while monitoring inventory and supplies, kitchen equipment, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with store policies and practices. The position works a rotating three-week schedule, with an expected 45-hour workweek. The shift is 2:00 p.m. to close. The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager. Compensation is $18.50–$19.00 per hour, stated as approximately $55,500–$58,000 annually, with a bi-weekly bonus program.

Requirements

Two years of experience.
Retail management experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Customer focus and a strong work ethic with high standards of integrity.
Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all levels of the store team.
Ability to build trust and adapt to customer, employee, and store-environment needs.
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership team members.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow practices and procedures.
A criminal background check and job-fit assessment are required during onboarding.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
