About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Dunkin' supports the Restaurant Manager in leading a team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitable sales in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes coaching and developing employees, assisting with recruiting and training, maintaining brand and safety standards, overseeing restaurant operations and financial performance, and helping implement continuous-improvement plans. The position offers weekly pay, paid time off, a 401(k) with a 6% match, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. A Food Safety Certification is required or must be obtainable. The restaurant is independently owned and operated by a Dunkin' franchisee, which is the employer and sets its own wages and benefits.

Requirements

Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience in restaurant, retail, or a supervisory role.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
Must have or be able to obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

Foster a collaborative team environment by providing coaching and feedback and resolving employee concerns.
Assist with recruiting and training team members.
Uphold and exceed brand standards to provide a consistently high-quality guest experience.
Manage operations to maximize guest satisfaction, maintain cleanliness, and comply with safety standards.
Oversee sales initiatives, labor, and food costs to contribute to restaurant profitability.
Work with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
