About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for a Tidal Wave Auto Spa site’s facility and operations. The role helps achieve volume, revenue, and profitability goals by leading by example and working alongside the team. It combines administrative duties with hands-on operational work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment and offers professional development and a path toward higher-level management positions.

The Assistant Manager helps lead a team of 10–15 employees, provides friendly, quality guest service, supports employee training and development, performs limited administrative work and quick equipment checks, and maintains the facility, landscaping, and equipment rooms. The role requires working outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, according to company needs. Occasional driving for company business may be required; a valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards are required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Willingness and ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond promptly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards; occasional company-business driving may be required.
• Drug screen and background check required according to state guidelines.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
