About The Position

Chico’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead the store team, build community connections, and create a seamless customer experience. The role supports the Store Manager in fostering a welcoming environment for associates and customers and delivering memorable, personalized experiences that reflect a culture of hospitality. The Assistant Manager helps develop the team, achieve store financial goals, uphold brand standards, and ensure safe and efficient store operations.

The position is at Store 1110—Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. It is a regular, full-time role with an hourly pay range of $16.77–$20.95. Benefit availability depends on employment type, role, and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products; maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom; operate the register; and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

• Three years of retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership of store financial goals and motivate the team to achieve them.
• Assist with hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, share product knowledge, and use an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient store operations, including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and inventory execution.
• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
