About The Position
The Assistant Manager supports store operations and may perform delivery duties. Delivery responsibilities include delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. The role involves navigating delivery areas and customer locations, including multi-story buildings and other sites, and working in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions. Physical activities include frequent reaching and hand use, bending at the waist, occasional crouching or squatting, carrying products, walking, and climbing stairs. Far vision and night vision are needed for driving.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including repeated bending and reaching, frequent hand use, carrying products, walking, and climbing stairs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
- Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
- Perform store tasks involving pizza assembly, stocking ingredients and shelves, cleaning, answering phones, and handling pizza-making tools.
