About The Position
BDQ, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager at Dairy Queen to lead and support crew members, manage shift operations, and help maintain service quality and store standards. The role offers consistent 35–40-hour workweeks, with no early morning shifts and no late-night closing shifts. Starting base pay is $16.87 per hour, plus average hourly tips of approximately $1.50. Eligible performance bonuses include up to $800 monthly and up to $1,000 annually. The posting states total earning potential of approximately $48,000–$50,000 or more per year, equivalent to up to $23.47–$24.19 per hour when tips and bonuses are maximized. The role offers a path to Store Manager positions as the franchise expands.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of leadership experience; fast-food experience is a plus.
- Strong people skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Food-safety knowledge or willingness to learn and obtain ServSafe® certification.
