About The Position

Enmarket is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help enrich customers’ lives through friendly, clean in-store service and community involvement. The role assists the Store Manager with daily store operations and mentors team members to provide fast, friendly service and a positive shopping experience. Enmarket operates 128 locations across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina and is continuing to grow.

Requirements

At least one year of retail experience.
General computer knowledge.
Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude and good communication skills.
Able to read, write, operate electronic equipment, and process sales transactions.
Able to follow instructions.
At least 18 years of age.
Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Able to stand, kneel, lift, and bend; lift up to 25 pounds and at times up to 30 pounds.
Able to traverse and access all areas of the store.
Able to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer, as well as standing and working at a cash register.
Available to work any shift within store operating hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
Mentor and assist in training team members to provide fast and friendly customer service.
Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
Check in vendor deliveries.
Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliations, and cigarette counts.
Assist the Store Manager as needed.
Help ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
Perform other related duties as required.
