About The Position

The Assistant General Manager assists the Store Manager with overseeing daily store operations. The role includes mentoring team members to provide fast, friendly service and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. Enmarket operates stores across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina and emphasizes fresh food, healthy options, courteous service, and community involvement.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work any shift within the store’s operational hours and on weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and at times lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to access and move through all areas of the store.
• Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and computer and standing at a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude.
• Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliations, and cigarette counts.
• Assist with training team members.
• Assist the Store Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
