About The Position

This role is responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Key duties include merchandising, filling, stocking, breaking down and storing loads, culling product, rotating product, and preparing product through trimming and crisping.

Requirements

• Provide a World-Famous Friendly attitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
• Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Store, rotate and break loads down to proper areas; cooler or backroom.
• Transport product to sales floor for filling.
• Cull off quality or out of code product and rotate new product onto display.
• Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable products.
• Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
• Continue education of product identification uses and handling.
• Assist with training department new team members.
• Keep work area clean and follow cleaning schedule.
• Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Produce Manager.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
