About The Position

This position is responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Key duties include merchandising, filling, stocking, breaking down and storing loads, culling product, rotating product, and preparation of product such as trimming and crisping.

  • Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors.
  • Merchandising, Filling, Stocking, Breaking Down & Storing Loads.
  • Culling Product, Rotating Product, Preparation of Product, Trimming, Crisping etc...
  • World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members.
  • Ability to work as part of a “team” atmosphere.
  • Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift.
  • Store, rotate and break loads down to proper areas; cooler or backroom.
  • Transport product to sales floor for filling.
  • Culling off quality or out of code product and rotate new product onto display.
  • Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable product.
  • Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
  • Continuing education of product identification uses and handling.
  • Keep work area clean- follow cleaning schedule.
  • Follow company dress code.
  • Follow safe handling practices for knives and cutters.
  • Follow safe lifting practices.
  • Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Produce Manager.
  • Learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
  • Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
