About The Position

The Grocery Assistant Manager will be responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. This role involves merchandising, stocking, rotation, and store-to-store transfers within the Grocery and General Merchandise Departments. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will maintain inventory accuracy, assist with department hiring, and provide team member coaching, accountability, and evaluations.

Responsibilities

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers and teammates.
Create a “team” atmosphere.
Lead, motivate, coach & direct team members.
Write and review all orders for accuracy.
Maintain inventory accuracy with handheld daily weekly scans.
Work all product shipments to shelf.
Merchandise & build creative displays.
Keep all shelves & center store clean, faced and well displayed.
Be knowledgeable with all products on display to assist shoppers.
Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift.
Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
Stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
