About The Position

The Bakery Assistant Manager will be responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. This role involves overseeing all job functions within the department, assisting with training new team members, and ensuring team motivation, direction, and coaching. Key responsibilities include ordering, inventory management, production, merchandising, cleaning, and sanitation. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in hiring, team member accountability, and evaluations, while working to achieve and exceed gross profit goals.

  • Stocking freezer and walk-in.
  • Stocking bakery tables, cheese case and HMR case.
  • Using cleaning products to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Using deli scales and bakery printers.
  • Detailed cleaning of entire bakery deli department per detailed cleaning list.
  • Cleaning rotisserie with authorized oven cleaner.
  • Packaging & labeling product.
  • Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
  • Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
