About The Position

This position involves providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Key responsibilities include receiving, breaking down, stocking, rotating, merchandising, and ensuring perfect presentation in the Grocery Department.

Requirements

• World Famous Friendly attitude to customers & team members.
• Ability to read product labels to stock properly.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to keep back room clean & organized.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
• Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers and teammates.
• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage in stock areas.
• Stock merchandise to shelf with high efficiency.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to shelf tag-location-schematic.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-date product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at end of scheduled shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
