About The Position

The Assistant Manager is an integral member of the store management team, responsible for developing the store team and helping implement strategies and operational practices that support brand equity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth. The role assumes responsibility for the store when the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager is absent. The Assistant Manager supports sales growth, team coaching, daily operations, and a welcoming customer experience, while acting in accordance with Levi Strauss & Co.’s values and store policies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of retail leadership experience.
• Proven coaching and training skills.
• Exhibits discretion, professional judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Collaborative role model whose behavior aligns with company culture.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and frequently move around, kneel, carry items, reach overhead, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to grow sales and analyze data to drive revenue growth.
• Mentor and motivate team members by providing guidance and leading by example.
• Oversee daily operations to promote efficiency and uphold high standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Develop the store team and contribute to successful implementation of store strategies and operational excellence.
• Assume responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager.
• Comply with Levi’s Stores policies, procedures, and programs, and follow directives of store management.
