About The Position

The Assistant Manager performs general operational duties, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires communicating with customers and coworkers verbally and in writing, in person and over the phone. It also involves safely driving a personal vehicle for pizza deliveries, navigating roads and maps, and negotiating delivery-site terrain and stairs while carrying products. The employee must accurately perform basic arithmetic to make correct monetary change, with a calculator permitted.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers, in person and over the phone.
• Ability to safely drive a personal vehicle and navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs while carrying products.
• Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and grasping.
