About The Position

Papa Gino’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate a high-energy restaurant, lead team members, and support daily operations. The role assists the General Manager in achieving corporate profit objectives, providing guest satisfaction, and maintaining a friendly, enthusiastic, productive, and respectful work environment. The Assistant Manager serves as Manager on Duty when assigned, provides hospitality and service to guests, and works at any restaurant station when necessary.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail leadership experience.
• Availability to work days and nights.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with applicable standards, including productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and corporate profit objectives.
• Help create a fun, productive, and respectful team environment.
• Lead by example, coach team members, and support team performance.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and ensure guests receive a high level of hospitality and service.
• Ensure food standards, food quality, preparation, and production requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with standards for guest relations, labor costs, paper costs, restaurant safety, and sanitation.
• Prepare and maintain personnel records, team member schedules, and financial and administrative reports.
• Ensure company operating procedures for the dining room, service area, and kitchen are followed.
• Ensure specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company expectations and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assign team members to positions and make purchases in accordance with inventory levels and budgets.
• Make shift-operation decisions, take disciplinary action when necessary if the Manager on Duty is unavailable, and escalate disciplinary issues to the Manager or General Manager.
• Work at any restaurant station when necessary and perform other job-related duties as required by business needs.
