About The Position

The Assistant Manager shares and assists with responsibility for the site’s facility and operations. The role uses a driven, determined, and self-disciplined approach to achieve established volume, revenue, and profitability goals. Assistant Managers lead by example and work alongside the team on the front line. The position offers leadership experience, professional development, and a career path to higher-level management roles at Tidal Wave Auto Spa.

This role combines administrative duties with hands-on operational work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The Assistant Manager helps lead a small team, supports guest service and employee development, performs limited administrative work and equipment checks, and maintains the facility, landscaping, and equipment rooms. Work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Occasional driving for company business may also be required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Quick problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, climb, and crouch frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate car wash equipment, hoses, and controls.
• Visual acuity to monitor vehicle condition, equipment function, and safety compliance.
• Comfort working in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
• Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly to safety or operational concerns in a noisy environment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards if driving for company business.
• Completion of a drug screen and background check as required by state guidelines.

• Mechanical inclination and experience preferred.
• Restaurant management experience is ideal; related skills are transferable.
