About The Position

HipBurger is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations. The Assistant Manager will lead and coach crew members and shift leads, work across restaurant stations as needed, and help ensure high standards for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and organization. The role also supports hiring, training, scheduling, performance feedback, inventory, ordering, and team development. It calls for someone who can solve problems in a fast-paced environment and help maintain a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of leadership experience in food service or hospitality.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
• Enthusiasm for working with people.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations.
• Lead and coach crew members and shift leads.
• Work on the floor as needed, including at the grill, register, drive-thru, and expo.
• Deliver excellent guest experiences with attentive and efficient service.
• Help with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, organized, and in line with HipBurger standards.
• Support the General Manager with inventory, ordering, and team development.
• Solve problems as they arise and maintain a positive atmosphere during busy periods.
